Warm-Weather Shipping (Please Read!)  🦒🍫

Because our treats are made with real chocolate and caramel, heat matters. Chocolate can begin to soften at temperatures just above 75°F, so a little planning goes a long way in keeping your goodies happy.

If you live in a warm or hot climate year-round, or temperatures are high in your area, we strongly recommend overnight or 2-day shipping. For extra peace of mind, insulated liners and ice packs are available for purchase at checkout.

👉 Please be home for delivery. Choosing a delivery address where someone can bring the package inside right away helps prevent heat exposure. While we package every order with care, Giraffe Nuts can’t be responsible for melting or damage caused by packages left outside after delivery.

Helpful tip:
If your box feels warm when it arrives, open it right away and let your treats cool indoors. If caramels or chocolate have softened, simply allow them to firm back up before enjoying.


Seasonal Shipping Schedule

During the warmer months, we ship meltable products Monday through Wednesday only. This helps avoid packages sitting in transit facilities over the weekend and gives your treats the best chance to arrive in great condition.

While we do everything we can to protect heat-sensitive items, we can’t guarantee they’ll arrive in perfect shape, even with cold packing, due to weather extremes and carrier delays. We truly appreciate your understanding.


Delivery Time & Processing

Orders are typically processed within 24–48 hours, and many orders placed by noon (Eastern Time) ship the same day. Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information right away.

Our goal is 2-day delivery, though shipping times may range from 3–7 business days depending on your location. During warmer months, please plan accordingly and consider expedited shipping.

If an item is temporarily out of stock during our Mon–Wed shipping window, it will ship the following Monday.


Shipping Destinations & Carriers

We ship to most addresses within the United States. Some state restrictions apply, and we do not ship internationally at this time.

  • UPS

Shipping Priorities & Delays

We don’t ship on weekends or holidays. Mondays, holidays, severe weather, and the busy holiday season may cause delays — but we always do our best to keep things moving.

If we experience a backlog:

  • Standard and Expedited orders are prioritized over Economy shipping.

Once your order leaves our hands, delivery timing is managed by the carrier. While most deliveries arrive on time, we recommend placing time-sensitive orders at least 14 days in advance.

In rare cases, packages may be delayed or lost. If that happens, we’ll work with the carrier and do our best to make things right.
